Tutoring Services
Homework isn’t always easy! That’s why AskRose Homework Hotline is here to help! It’s a FREE math and science tutoring service for students in grades 6 – 12. Students can call, email, or chat online with a friendly tutor between 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Sunday through Thursday, from August through May.
Before contacting the Homework Hotline, the student should gather his/her homework assignment, textbook (if available), pencil or pen, paper and calculator.
Students will be asked to provide their first name and the name of their school when they call. Student privacy is always protected, and students are never asked for their last name or phone number. AskRose is funded by Lilly Endowment Inc. and Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. The program is certified by the National Tutoring Association.
Khan Academy offers FREE practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. www.khanacademy.org
