Triton Central Middle School will host our Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, August 1st from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. This event will be an open house format so please come when it is most convenient for your family!
Triton Central Middle School will be changing the start and end times for school for the 2023-2024 school year. Triton Central Middle School will start classes at 7:35am and will end the school day at 2:50pm. You should not see any changes to bus pickup and drop off times as we have made adjustments here on campus to allow for these changes. If you are a car rider please make the necessary adjustments for your arrival and departure plans.
BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL CHILDCARE
Childcare is open to students enrolled in Triton Central Schools KG-8th grade and is a self-supported program offered by the school corporation for your convenience. Daily activities include snack time, homework time, recess, playtime, and craft projects. Homework time is strongly encouraged for approximately 30–45 minutes. Breakfast can be purchased through the cafeteria or your child can bring their own breakfast.
Hours of Operation:
AM- 7:00 AM- 9:00 AM
PM- 3:50 PM (2:50 p.m. for middle school students)- 6:00 PM.
If school is delayed, childcare will open at 8:30 AM. If school is dismissed early or is closed, childcare will be closed. Students should be dropped off at Door 3 by the gym doors. A childcare worker will be at the door to let students into the building. Children must be signed out inside the Front Door 1 by parent/guardian/authorized adult and identification must be provided.
Early transportation for elementary students is available. Elementary students can ride the middle/high school route and be brought to childcare. Transportation for Middle school students will be provided to and from the middle school for AM and PM childcare. Middle school childcare students cannot ride the elementary bus home. Call transportation to make arrangements for 317-835-3009 for either transportation need.
Weekly childcare rates are $8.00 per child/per registered session or $15 for per drop-in session. We offer both AM and PM sessions. Discounted weekly rate of $70 per child will be applied for students that attend both AM & PM sessions Monday-Friday. A Drop-in option will be available for those who will only attend the program occasionally. Middle school students riding home with elementary car riders will be charged a weekly rate of $20 per student. If you will be utilizing the Drop-in option, you MUST contact the school office to let them know by 3:00 PM and have a completed registration form on file. Childcare fees will be billed weekly one week in advance according to the registration form. Fees will be charged regardless of student attendance. Students picked up after 6:00 PM will also be charged a $15.00 late fee. Please notify the office if your need for child care changes, you will continued to be billed until you contact the school.
